What you get

A better way to be found, and to be trusted

Families often spend weeks ringing around. Caredex gives them one place to look, and gives you a profile that shows you are who you say you are.

Families find you

They search by what they need and where they live. The nearest providers come first, so local families see you first.

Stand out as checked

Your profile shows how and when we checked you. That removes the doubt families have when they choose.

You control availability

Say when you are taking new clients. Families see the date you confirmed it, so you hear from people you can help.

Requests come to you

Families send a short request and you reply by email. You decide who you take on.

Refer on and grow

Planned for launch: send a client to another provider when it is not your area (for example, OT to speech pathologist), and invite colleagues with your own link. We never take client details.

Built for practices

Register a whole team of up to 10 at once. Each practitioner keeps their own profile and availability, and a practice admin can update it for the team.

How it works for you

Three steps. The first takes 2 minutes.

Register

Tell us your profession and suburb. It costs nothing, and your Founding Partner place is reserved.

We check you

Before your area opens we email you, look at a public register or at evidence you show us, and build your profile with you.

You go live

Melbourne opens in January 2027. Families search, and you update your availability and answer requests. Other areas follow.

Founding Partner places close 15 January 2027 Register before then and you are listed from day one.

This is what families see.

“For more than 12 years I've been navigating the NDIS as a carer. I've spent months trying to find the right OT or speech therapist, and lost count of calls to providers who weren't taking anyone new. I'm not a clinician and won't pretend to be. I've spent 25 years building software, and Caredex is what I wish I'd had.”

Questions

Common questions

Will families actually find me?

We cannot promise you clients, and we won't pretend to. What we are building is a place where families search by what they need and where they live, and see providers who have been checked and are taking new clients. Families are already registering their interest. Between now and January we will keep telling families and support coordinators that Caredex is coming, so that people are searching when Melbourne opens. Your profile shows when you are taking new clients, so you only hear from people you can help.

Is it really free to list?

The basic listing is free at launch. Optional paid features (messaging, service agreements, and session logging with invoicing via a direct Xero integration) are not built or priced yet. We will publish pricing, including GST, before launch, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it. Paid provider tools are how Caredex expects to cover its costs, so families can use it free.

Do I need to be NDIS registered?

No. Registered and unregistered providers are both welcome, and your status shows on your profile. We just need a credential we can check (see how we check you, above). An ABN alone is not enough.

What am I signing up for?

Reserving your Founding Partner place. No payment, no contract, no obligation. We will email you before your area opens to check your credentials and finish your profile. We don't check you earlier than that, because checks go out of date. To withdraw, email hello@caredex.com.au and we'll remove your details within 5 business days.

I'm outside Melbourne, or I do telehealth. Can I register?

Yes. Provider registration is open in every state and territory, and telehealth providers are welcome. Participant search opens area by area, starting with Melbourne metro in January 2027, once we have enough checked providers for families to find real options. We'll confirm dates for other areas once Melbourne is open. Your Founding Partner place applies wherever you are.

Where is my data stored?

Today, registrations are received and stored by our form provider, Formspree (USA). We plan to host the Caredex platform in an Australian data centre at launch, and we'll tell registrants if where their data is held changes. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Is Caredex real?

Registration is live now. The searchable directory is still in development, with Melbourne targeted for January 2027, and if that changes we'll tell everyone who has registered. Caredex is not a clinical service and gives no clinical advice. You can check who we are: ABN 66 682 927 359 on abr.business.gov.au, LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/emamhossain, and hello@caredex.com.au.
