Find NDIS providers who are checked and taking new clients
Caredex is a free directory for NDIS families, built by a carer. Every provider is checked before they are listed, so you spend less time ringing around and wondering who is qualified.
- Each profile shows how the provider was checked, and when
- Availability is confirmed by the provider, with the date
- Free for families. No hidden fees

You're registered, thank you
We'll email you when checked providers are available in your area.
Less phoning around. More confidence.
We open in Melbourne first, so there is real coverage before families arrive.
Register your interest
Tell us your suburb and the support you need. It costs nothing.
We check providers
Before anyone is listed, we look at a public register or at evidence they show us, and record the date.
Search and connect
From January 2027, search by profession and suburb, see who is taking new clients, and contact them directly. Filters for funding type and language are planned.
Every profile says how it was checked
Checked is not recommended. A check means we looked at a register or evidence on the date shown. It is not a guarantee of quality, and you still choose. Providers we haven't been able to check don't appear.
Sarah M.
Sample profile, fictional provider.
“For more than 12 years I've been navigating the NDIS as a carer. I've spent months trying to find the right OT or speech therapist, and lost count of calls to providers who weren't taking anyone new. I'm not a clinician and won't pretend to be. I've spent 25 years building software, and Caredex is what I wish I'd had.”Dr Emam Hossain, Founder, Caredex · Melbourne

Common questions
How do I know providers are real and qualified?
Before a provider appears, we look at a public register (AHPRA for registered health professionals, the NDIS Commission's practitioner listing where one is published, or a professional body's register) or at evidence the provider shows us. Every profile says which, and the date. Support workers who have not sent us their clearance are listed as self-declared, and their profile says so. Please ask to see it before you engage them. Registrations can lapse between checks, so look at the date and ask the provider. We aim to re-check at least once a year, where possible.
What if there is nobody near me yet?
We'll tell you. In some suburbs and services we'll have few or no checked providers at launch, and we'd rather show an honest empty result than pad the page. Register and we'll email you when providers in your area are available.
Can I report a provider?
Yes. Email hello@caredex.com.au now, and at launch every profile will have a way to report a concern. We'll look into it as soon as we can. If we confirm a serious safety concern, we will tell the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (1800 035 544). If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.
Where is my data stored?
Today, registrations are received and stored by our form provider, Formspree (USA). We plan to host the Caredex platform in an Australian data centre at launch, and we'll tell registrants if where their data is held changes. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Is Caredex real?
Registration is live now. The searchable directory is still in development, with Melbourne targeted for January 2027, and if that changes we'll tell everyone who has registered. Caredex is not a clinical service and gives no clinical advice. You can check who we are: ABN 66 682 927 359 on abr.business.gov.au, LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/emamhossain, and hello@caredex.com.au.
